Why I do this work
For most of my life, I was the one who held everything together.
The strong one. The responsible one. The emotional anchor. The one everyone leaned on even when I was breaking inside.

For most of my life, I was the one who held everything together.
The strong one. The responsible one. The emotional anchor. The one everyone leaned on even when I was breaking inside.
I didn’t choose those roles. They were handed to me long before I had the capacity to carry them.
When my father died, I felt my mother’s grief reach for me. When my mother died, my sister reached for me too. And even when I tried to protect myself, I still ended up carrying them both through illness, crisis, and loss.
Not because I wanted to. Because I didn’t know I had a choice.
For years, I thought this made me cold or resentful. But the truth was simpler:
I was a child who had been responsible for too much. And every part of me was trying to survive.
My healing began the moment I finally saw the younger versions of myself with compassion. The girl who never got to rest, soften, or be held.
From that moment forward, everything changed.
I began reclaiming the parts of me that had been lost to survival: my ease, my joy, my boundaries, my identity, my life.
And as I reclaimed myself, my work transformed.
I realized my purpose wasn’t to help people “heal” in general. It was to guide people who have carried too much come back to themselves, to help them release responsibility wounds, reclaim their selfhood, and return to sovereignty.
This is the medicine I never received. This is the lineage I am here to build.
